What we collect, and why

When you place an order we ask for your name, phone number and email address so we can prepare your food, reach you if something is unclear, and send you a confirmation. If you choose delivery we also ask for your address, so the driver can find you. Nothing more is required to order.

Your order — the items, the time and the amount — is stored with the order itself. We keep it because we have to: Danish bookkeeping law requires sales records to be kept for five years plus the current financial year.

Payment

Payment is handled by our payment provider (Betal ved afhentning). Card details are entered on the provider’s own page and are never stored by us — we only see whether the payment succeeded.

Who else sees it

The website runs on our web host, and order confirmations are sent by email through our mail provider. Both act on our instructions only. We do not sell or hand over your details to anyone else.

Your rights

You may ask what we hold about you, have mistakes corrected, and have data deleted where we are not required to keep it. Write to simon@smallbite.dk and we will answer as soon as we can. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.dk.
