The pizzeria in Bredebro — year in, year out

Pizza Express has been at Storegade 31 for more than twenty years. In that time we have baked pizza for ordinary weeknights when nobody had the energy to cook, for Friday pizza nights, for birthdays and confirmations, and for the holidays when everything else was closed. Bredebro is not a big town, so the same people keep coming back — and by now, their children too.

Ahmed and the family

Ahmed Zannoun has run the place from the start. He still stands at the oven, and he has his family with him: his wife Somai is a great help in the day-to-day running, and the children pitch in wherever they are needed — baking pizzas and driving them out. They are the ones at work when the phone rings at half past seven on a Friday evening.

We make the food when you order it

Nothing sits finished, waiting. The dough is rolled, the toppings go on, and the pizza goes in the oven when your order comes in. That is why it takes the minutes it takes — and why it tastes the way it does.
